I thought it would be a interesting idea to post pictures of where I work in my home.

Here is my main machine and desk. I have my old Thinkpad’s docking station on the right. I use it to record my podcasts since I can connect it to the second DSL line and have a clean line without webhosting and other Internet activity running on it.

This is the same desk from the other view. I usually have a green carpet down on the floor, but it is drying after soaking the water up from a flood from the laundry room above. The water found its way to drip right above my workstation but didn’t harm any of my equipment.

Here is my reading chair. Well its also my time away from everyone else chair as well. What you can’t see on top of the TV is my old XBox that serves as a DVD player as well. In the cabinet above the monitor is where the contents of the picture below is found.

Here is my server farm. Yeah messy but it could be worse. It has a nice hum to it, hence the reason its in a cabinet. I have my NS servers, my hosting server, and three in house servers. Needless to say you can hear this upstairs in the bathroom. I kind of find it soothing to listen too when downstairs. The white noise helps me get into reading whatever techno journal I’ve got my hands on.
