So I just finished watching Nick Duffill’s Presentation on using MindManager and ResultsManager for Project Management.

First off I must say it was a good presentation. I learned some things that I didn’t know about MindMagaer and I learned alot about ResultsManagement.

I mainly use MindManager as a mind dumping application and for tracking meetings. I havn’t tried to use it for Project Management yet. This presentation showed mainly that it is possible to use the whole application for Project Management and to use ResultsManager for compiling many MM files into Dashboards for a overview. You would be able to see the overall to-do’s for all the projects.

I’ve tried ResultsManager once or twice already. I couldn’t figure out many of the features. Then again I wasn’t using MindManager for projects at the time. After seeing this presentation I am thinking of trying it out again. ResultsManager has a trial version available. Its setup correctly in my opinion, which the trial is based on using it 30 times not 30 days.

The only way I would pay for ResultsManager is if I changed my whole inbox function of GTD to MindManager or use MindManger for all my project management use. I would need to base my whole to-do items there. I’m not sure I can do that with my day to day items but I can try it for future projects.

Tomorrow there is another Webinar on Service Base Projects and how to use MindManager for that. I definatly plan on attending that.
